We love Canva and use it for the majority of our content creation. It has endless amounts of templates to choose from and even the possibility to make things totally your own. The best part is that Canva is free! Although, there are options for upgrades to have access to more stickers, pictures, animations, etc.
Mailchimp is a email marketing platform. It allows people to create email campaigns to send out to their audience. There are multiple templates to choose from, which you can then make your own. This tool is also free with options to upgrade depending on your preferences and audience size. Mailchimp tracks your growth, subscribers, revenue, clicks, opens, and more. You also have the option to create ads, landing pages, popup forms, and more! We use Mailchimp to send out weekly newsletter for our blog & sales/notifications for our boutique!
Lightroom is an invaluable tool for those who use photos as the major selling point for their business! We use lightroom to edit all of our photos from photoshoots for both the boutique & the blog. It allows us to create our own unique presets and add new ones that we have purchased. You can edit the light, color, detail and more of your photos to make them just how to like them. Lightroom is free for both the mobile and iPad app. In order to use it on your desktop or laptop, you would need to purchase a subscription.
Google Drive is an absolute must have if you have a small business! Google Drive is a storage service that allows you to store, share, and view files across multiple devices. It allows us to share documents, flyers, images, PDFs, and more with one another and have access to them from anywhere as long as we have an internet connection. And actually, you have the option to make certain files viewable while you are offline. Google Drive is completely free as long as you have a Gmail account, and there are options for upgrades to larger amounts of storage.
Every successful business has a kick-butt social media page! Plann is an amazing app to help you keep your social media platforms organized and looking great! This platform allows you to plan your posts and captions in advance and even allows you to set reminders to post your content! With the free “Little” plan, Plann keeps track of your best performing posts, your follower growth, and more. When you upgrade, you can view strategy tips to boost your interaction and followers, the best time to post for your business, your best performing hashtags, and so many more amazing insights! Plann is an extremely useful app to help you analyze and enhance your social media.
